This bass is incredible. The neck isn't too thin or too thick. Has dual pickups, and its very durable. Make sure you buy a peavy amp, its like perfection times 2. Its very cheap as well, functions like a pro bass but at a beginner cost.
I have been playing a Fender preicion bass on the job for about 35 years, I got the Peavey Millennium just for a second bass but I like it better than the old Preision bass and I have been using it on the jobs.
This is a good bass to start out on, noiseless pickups was key for me to start with. Anyone who is tired of the hum and like the sound of jazz pickups could get to like this bass. For the price it's nice. It's easy to move up and down the fingerboard while playing, especially if you have small hands. Also, the body is pretty lightweight.
This bass has the quality of an instrument costing at least twice as much. Narrow neck is perfect for players with smaller hands. Neck joint allows easy access to higher frets. Awesome!
This is a good bass for the intermediate player. If you already know how to play and just need a step up so you can start to play with a band or something like that this is perfect. It lacks the highs that you find alot with J basses, but there is still plenty of room to mess around with your tone. Really good with slap.
