Main input and output controls use 60 mm linear faders. There is also a 5-band graphic EQ, digital reverb and a FLS Feedback Locating System. The Escort's case also has room for additional microphones and cables.
So here it is, everything in one package that will allow you to use up to 4 microphones and two stereo line level sources (i.e. audio from your computer, VCR, DVD player, tape recorder, etc.). It will all sound great through the two impressive 2-way speakers with 10 inch woofers and piezoelectric horn tweeters.

My church owns one of these. I do praise and worship weekly. It puts out enough volume to fill our sanctuary which holds over 300. I have found no problems with the system except for some feedback problems which is easily fixed using the built in feedback locater. I GIVE IT SIX STARS!!
One of the all instrumental jazz bands i set up for uses one of these for their small gigs with a microphone. It has an excellent sound, is light, fits nicely in your trunk, and is quick and easy to set up. They use it to call out the names of songs, but each has an independent amplification setup for their instruments. It works for what they use it for, but It doesn't get loud enough to do much else. It definitely couldn't be used to amplify their instruments or for a singer during songs due to the fact It just is not loud enough. I highly doubt it gets loud enough for a singer's voice to cut through un amplified drums. The comparable kustom setup I own is half the price, twice as loud, and sounds just as good.
I own several larger systems. Buying the Peavey Escort 2000 was the best purchase I could have ever made. I is great for smaller gatherings such as 20 to 100 people, yet it can handle 200 to 300 people events just as well. The best thing is that my other units require hours to set up. I can be ready with this unit in 3 to 5 minutes if I take my time. I am considering buying many more as rentals.
