As with all Pearl drums each shell is formed from our legendary SST construction process that uses extreme heat, Precision cut scarf joints, our proprietary Acoustiglue and over 1000 lb. of hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber. Vision VMX features a 100% maple matching snare drum. Maple snares resonate with a warm, full-bodied tone. With a 6-ply 7.5mm shell thickness this snare also produces the extra power for incredible projection and cut. The smooth frequency response of VMX's maple shell produces balanced tones from lows to highs.

Warranty Information
Pearl's Marching and Concert Percussion except as noted herein, purchased from an authorized Pearl dealer are warranted to the original retail purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of delivery. Warranty coverage will commence on the date of retail purchase and shall be valid by item as indicated below and is not transferable. Shells: Wood shells are guaranteed against material failure, ply separation or going out of round for a period of three (3) years. Hardware: Hardware is guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years. Finish: Both the lacquer and covered finishes on Pearl drums are guaranteed for one (1) year; however, Pearl does not guarantee against deterioration by reason of corrosive atmosphere, extreme temperature, or other external causes. Hoops: Wood hoops are guaranteed against material failure, ply separation or going out of round for a period of one (1) year. Adams Products: All Adams Products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Mallet bar sets are entitled to one (1) free tuning during the period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Individual bars may be exchanged as often as necessary during the period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. For rosewood and padouk bars, Pearl/Adams highly recommends waiting for nine (9) months from the date of original purchase before exchanging or tuning the bars. This warranty does not apply to alterations or additions to the product after it leaves the factory. Warranty does not cover sticks, brushes, beaters, springs, heads or cymbals. Pearl will repair and/or replace warranted parts free of charge upon delivery by the original purchaser to an Authorized Dealer or to the Pearl Corporation. Proof of status as original purchaser is required for warranty coverage. This warranty gives specific rights. Purchaser's rights may vary from state to state.

"Bought for two worlds. He ended up buying a set like mine, he liked it so much. An all maple set for under 2 grand with hardware, cymbal pack and stool, that's unheard of in this world. I am amazed at how tight and professional the bass drum sounds. Those cheap sets sound like Oscars trash can tipping over when you step on it, this sounds like a thump with no sustain. I purchased the Sabian cymbals and the Remo head that have the two ply thing and this set has been heralded by professional drummers when they come over. When I tell them what I paid, they are in disbelief until I show them this site. The second world is that my 6 year old son can play them if he sits on a milk crate and I don't feel like he's banging on a 10 thousand dollar investment. Ahhh life is good. Life is good. I chose the Vision maple simply because: 1. Maple snare 2. Its maple so its excellent for live venues!! 3. The red sparkle lacquer is BEAUTIFUL! 4. Under $2000 with snare, hardware, and a full zht cymbal set 5. Its pearl!!! with this set, i found out why pearl has such a good reputation! these drums come perfectly tuned straight out of the box! and with the 6/8 shell technology, my 16" floor tom sounds like an 18"! my kick drum is so loud and fierce with a low tone i cant believe!!! the protone heads that come on it have lasted me a couple months so far, so dont worry about replacing them right away ;) all in all, the perfect buy for someone wanting an excellent deal at a down to earth price!!
