The VG-1450 Virgil Donati signature snare drum features a 5" x 14" shell with four outer plies of 100% maple over four inner plies of 100% birch. The 8-ply shell produces a super bright tone accentuated even more by the four inner plies of birch. With a rounded top bearing edge many drummers will find that they can play this drum wide open without any muffling. The drum's impressive styling is capped with die cast chrome hoops and a smoke flake finish. Other features include chrome-plated brass tube lugs, ultra-precise stainless steel tension rods and the SR-017 Vertical Pull Strainer.

Warranty Information
Pearl's Marching and Concert Percussion except as noted herein, purchased from an authorized Pearl dealer are warranted to the original retail purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of delivery. Warranty coverage will commence on the date of retail purchase and shall be valid by item as indicated below and is not transferable. Shells: Wood shells are guaranteed against material failure, ply separation or going out of round for a period of three (3) years. Hardware: Hardware is guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years. Finish: Both the lacquer and covered finishes on Pearl drums are guaranteed for one (1) year; however, Pearl does not guarantee against deterioration by reason of corrosive atmosphere, extreme temperature, or other external causes. Hoops: Wood hoops are guaranteed against material failure, ply separation or going out of round for a period of one (1) year. Adams Products: All Adams Products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Mallet bar sets are entitled to one (1) free tuning during the period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Individual bars may be exchanged as often as necessary during the period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. For rosewood and padouk bars, Pearl/Adams highly recommends waiting for nine (9) months from the date of original purchase before exchanging or tuning the bars. This warranty does not apply to alterations or additions to the product after it leaves the factory. Warranty does not cover sticks, brushes, beaters, springs, heads or cymbals. Pearl will repair and/or replace warranted parts free of charge upon delivery by the original purchaser to an Authorized Dealer or to the Pearl Corporation. Proof of status as original purchaser is required for warranty coverage. This warranty gives specific rights. Purchaser's rights may vary from state to state.
