Warranty Information
Pearl's Marching and Concert Percussion except as noted herein, purchased from an authorized Pearl dealer are warranted to the original retail purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of delivery. Warranty coverage will commence on the date of retail purchase and shall be valid by item as indicated below and is not transferable. Shells: Wood shells are guaranteed against material failure, ply separation or going out of round for a period of three (3) years. Hardware: Hardware is guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years. Finish: Both the lacquer and covered finishes on Pearl drums are guaranteed for one (1) year; however, Pearl does not guarantee against deterioration by reason of corrosive atmosphere, extreme temperature, or other external causes. Hoops: Wood hoops are guaranteed against material failure, ply separation or going out of round for a period of one (1) year. Adams Products: All Adams Products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Mallet bar sets are entitled to one (1) free tuning during the period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Individual bars may be exchanged as often as necessary during the period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. For rosewood and padouk bars, Pearl/Adams highly recommends waiting for nine (9) months from the date of original purchase before exchanging or tuning the bars. This warranty does not apply to alterations or additions to the product after it leaves the factory. Warranty does not cover sticks, brushes, beaters, springs, heads or cymbals. Pearl will repair and/or replace warranted parts free of charge upon delivery by the original purchaser to an Authorized Dealer or to the Pearl Corporation. Proof of status as original purchaser is required for warranty coverage. This warranty gives specific rights. Purchaser's rights may vary from state to state.

CA USA 80 people out of 149 found this review helpful This stand is much more stable than a standard basket stand. Because the 3 legs are individually adjustable you can level it on an uneven surface. It also has hardware that locks the bottom of the drum in place keeping it from tipping to one side in the stand while your playing. The stand is more stable on smaller diameter drum, say a conga, than it is for a larger (tumba) drum. But it works good for my tumba too. The stand will walk a bit on a smooth surface like a hardwood floor. The plastic connector on the strap will probably break as it did for me but was easily replaced. The stand folds up nice and compact. It is very heavy duty except for the strap connector. It is awkward to unfold the stand to set it up but easy to fold up to take it down. I've tried other stands and so far this is the best. Was this review useful?
