There is a recommendation for trying these in a pair as mini hats...that was a great idea! I have a pair of Heavy Signature Hats as my main hats they have a strong tight sound. The rude pair on a remote can create a softer alternative hollow sound and when left slightly open I can get as loud as I want for great accent hitting, also a great hi-pitched bell. It's got to be the heaviest mini out there. Double these mini's and you will save $75.00 easy, even more if you get a different 10" splash as a bottom hat.

I'm new to Paiste Rude cymbals. I've been a Zildjian user for about 4 years and thought there was nothing better for metal music. Well, I was wrong! Paiste Rude cymbals are awesome! The splash has a good bright warm tone to it and has an awesome look to it. I would really recommend these cymbals to any drummer who loves to play to metal music or hard rock and needs a needs a raw but also bright sounding cymbal!

Truly the best sounding splash I've heard. It's very loud and fast, and it's best for loud playing when you want the good sound from it to be heard well through high volumes, such as metal and punk and other types of rock. Just like all of the other Paiste Cymbals, I would probably never find a better sounding splash cymbal than this one.
