I prefer to use a single pedal, but I have owned this pedal for months now. When I have used it, it serves well. If you happen to be a double pedal fan, this is a definite buy. Great precision, glides smoothly, and gets out some nice even strokes. If you're into double bass pedals and want a good pedal at a good price, this is it.

I got this pedal a couple of years ago...for half the price and it still holds up great... I have a friend who has a pearl eliminator, and to be honest, I like the feel of mine better.

I know I'm no pro but this pedal is great for me and it's my first double bass pedal. I play it all the time and everything is so smooth. Not to mention the feel, all you have to do is attach a piece or two and play away!Don't waste your money buy this one!

Be real: there are slight variations in bass pedals and such, but when you get down to it, double bass is all out of skill (i.e. the pedal doesn't play fast...YOU do.) If you're one of those gear-heads that has to have the latest little innovations in cams and such, go buy a 5000 pedal. If you want to save money on a pedal that will do just the same thing (trust me, I have a 5000 as well as this one), I can honestly say this will serve you well. The only thing I could ask more of is a little more length on the connector arm between the pedals. Other than that, it's got the same basic feel, movement, and durability of a higher-end DW pedal.

Ive had this pedal for a little over a year. It was my first double pedal so Idont have much to compare with but I think its the perfect beginner double pedal. Its mega cheap and works perfectly fine. I switched to Gibraltar beaters and it sounds great. I would only recommend this if you're looking to begin double pedal.

I've had mine for about a month, and it still looks brand new. It works very well, and unlike the Tama iron cobra, it has a backhead on the beater so you can use both sides of it. It's also about 170 bucks cheaper. The only problem I had was that the pedals are a little hard to get a grip on, and my feet kept slipping off of them. But putting a little bit of medical tape on them fixes it. Other than that, I had absolutely no problems with the dw pacific.

I got this pedal special ordered since I am a lefty. Since I had only been playing drums for a few months, it was a great purchase. I requires only a little maintenance and is smooth. My right (normally left) pedal is a little squeaky, so I won't be recording with it. Great pedal for the price, but if you're looking for an amazing piece of equipment, go for the DW 5002 or 9002.
