I bought this rack back in January and I absolutly love it! Its extremely durable, while at the same time being very light weight so its easy to move. The bottom has rubber feet, so it doesn't slip on a hard surface, and a screw with a pointed end that you're able to tighten with a drum key for when you're on carpet. The clamps for the rack are extremely nice and are easy to use. They open and close on hinges that extend outward, and come in a variety. Some are adjustable, and all of them hav a memory lock. The cymbal stands are excellent, however you want to consider buying new felts, as the ones included are extremely rigid. Overall, this is an excellent quality rack that will last an entire lifetime. A must have for all drummers with big kits!

This rack can be summed up in three words: fast, durable, versatile. I purchased this rack as a replacement for a Gibraltar power rack. For the longest time swore by Gibraltar rack gear only, forsaking any others, until I found this rack.
The memory locks on this rack allow you to tear the whole rack down for transportation, then when ready, you can set it back up in minutes. My PDP rack spends a good deal of time in the back of a trailer with lots of other drum/PA gear traveling from town to town. All the hardware is durable enough to survive even the most extreme transportation conditions. All the clamps/locks are solid metal with no cheap plastic parts.
I've added on the side wings which integrate with the base rack flawlessly. If you're planning on using this rack as a base to build off of, with the intention of mounting toms, I would suggest another T-Leg rather than the wings, however. The side wings, while perfect for additional cymbals, lack enough support to hold up any drum larger than 12". Adding a T-Leg fixes this problem and gives you even more configuration options.
Bottom line: If you're looking for a versatile yet durable rack, you can't go wrong here. This is a great jumping point for any rack and with a large selection of add-ons available you can truly create the perfect drum rack.
