I have been impressed with On stage stands as good quality low cost mic boom stands. I was expecting the same here with this package. The stands are low quality, that will not hold up for the live gigging band. I'm glad I bought these as permanent fixtures in the studio, otherwise they would be going back. Having said that, there is no way I would trust my expensive mics to be kept stable on these. This is ideal for the beginning musician or band that are just trying to get up and running only.
