Very easy to assemble and very sturdy for a medium duty stand. I do about 6-8 solo gigs a month, so i did not need anything more heavy duty than this. it holds my Fatar 990,controller, a very heavy keyboard, and my Yamaha 740 synth above. If you needed to see any screens or set many controls on the botttom keyboard, you're pretty well out of luck as the second tier hieght is not adjustable and is directly above the main frame. Not concerned about that in my case. The second tier seems very sturdy and the angle is adjustable. All around a good chioce for my needs. If you gig every night and tend to be rough with your gear, I'd go with the heavy duty version, though.
