I had a stand for everything in my act - my keyboard, my keyboard amp, my P.A. speakers, my microphone, my trumpet - a stand for everything but me. When it came to having something to put me on, I'd always have the embarrassment of having to walk up to a caterer and see if they had any extra folding chairs and bum one from the kitchen. Invariably, it was too low and, usually, uncomfortable. Now that I have this throne, I don't know how or why I lived without it. It has a back for support and a comfortable seat, allowing one to do a four hour gig easily. It can be used at a sitting height, or raised for quasi- standing for bassists. There is an extra bar for guitarists to rest their foot on. Oh, and by the way, the legs flatten out, making it fit easily in the back seat of my Nissan Altima.
