After looking at soft and hard cases alike, I decided to purchase the Musicians Gear case. Two attributes were most important to me--a hard case to transport and protect my instrument, plus a well constructed, quality case. I am impressed with the construction and the case is well lined. It fits my instrument well and, to my surprise, it has a storage comaprtment for small accessories. I highly recommend this case for an A-style mandolin. I found it to be a good balance between cost and quality..

This is a good case for the money. It houses and protects at a reasonable price and looks like it will hold up for quite a while.
