Simple design but works perfectly. I have a small 30 watt amp that sits perfectly on the stand. It is secure, I have better access to the controls and it even sounds better.

This is perfect for setting up a small amp either for practice on on a job where you don't have a good monitor feed. Will change your perception of what is actually coming out when you get that amp pointed at your head. Just got it, so can't comment on long term durability - seems a bit lightweight for heavy use. And, the angle formed by the back and bottom is a bit larger than 90 degrees, allowing amp to rock an little. But, especially for practice in a small room, can't beat it.

An amazing little stand. I take this with me on every gig, and it puts my projection and tone exactly where I want it. I can hear everything accurately - really lets me blend and balance with the rest of the rhythm section for big band or jazz guitar trio work. Very portable and practical - I highly recommend it.

I'll start by saying that I had my doubts when this stand arrived and I opened it. It is really small and I thought there was no way it could hold my 1x12 combo. Wrong!! This stand does a nice job of aiming the amp up off the floor and my bandmates commented immediately that they could hear my guitar much clearer during practice. I haven't used it on a gig yet but I intend to. The only caveat I'll give is if you have a footswitch or effects loop on the back of your amp you may have to slide the amp left or right from center to avoid covering the jack.
