fits my Gibson resonator banjo. Pocket a little small on the outside. Has a pocket inside that seems a little shorter than most but that's ok. Has 2 zipper pulls that's good because it is a long zipper. Light weight seems very protective. A little bulkier than a plywood case but that just means It's has good foam protection. Overall seems much much lighter than the hard case with the banjo inside. Shoulder straps included, I'll use those.

Very pleased with this case - I have one for a jazz mando - and while it is listed as "Musician's Gear" it is a Guardian Brand case. Lightweight and strong, I have found these a great alternative to hardshells for larger instruments; I got this one to house a Fender FBZ-66 Bouzouki (older deep-body, not slimline). Snug as a bug in a rug! I had to modify inside length for accommodate longer heel-to-strap-button length of 'zouk vs. banjo, and it was easy! The screws holding the canvas ouside along the edge can be removed, the long screws holding the accessory compartment block removed, and the block moved up and re-screwed through the Durafoam. Trim the lid plywood, re-glue the cloth covering, re-attach the outside canvas, and you have a custom 'zouk case! Should work for most 3-4" depth PacRim 'zouks. Light as a feather and the (padded) shoulder straps are great. In short, I love these cases, great for everythig but air travel...and to find it at this LOW price, with free shipping, was a big deal for a hobbyist like me. And it arrived fast. I'd give the product and process a 6th star!

An excellent case. Much lighter than a hard-shell case, yet offers very good protection- can't beat it for the price!

really nice and light . super padded. only wished the back pocket was big enough to hold song book.

While this case will obviously provide full protection for my banjo, I wish now that I had purchased the hardshell case I was also considering, instead. It is lightweight, but is also soooo bulky. I also find the extremely long zipper to be a hassle, and wonder how long it will be before the zipper faiils (they all eventually do fail). I'll eventually replace it with a hardshell case.
