The tone screams out in crisp growling heaps - in part thanks to the Rockfield SWC pickups. Constructed with USA magnets and wire commonly found in the best known pickups. You get versatile tone ranging from full and biting twang in split-coil mode to clean gnarly and grungy grind in full humbucker mode. Bboth pickups are also coil tapped. Other features include an adjustable Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through body, which gives the Patriot Limited guitar a slightly darker tone than its Michael Kelly Patriot Custom brother.

I got the guitar because of the wood it was made of. I expected to have to replace all of the electronics and hardware. I also expected to have to do a major set up job. I was dead wrong. The neck was setup, the pickups are amazing, and the tuners are smooth. I wasn't expecting the contour at the neck joint either, it makes playing above the 12 fret easy and comfortable.
