Meisel The Band Viola Pickup System
A compact, durable, and easy-to-install pickup system, The Band can electrify any viola without the need for modifications to the instrument itself. The Band wraps around the instrument under the strings and is firmly secured with two Velcro® hook-and-loop strips in a three-step process: 1. The end of The Band pickup tube is passed under the strings between the bridge and the tailpiece and wrapped around the narrow waist area. 2. The two ends of the tube are firmly wrapped around the back of the instrument and the Velcro® hook-and-loop tape is secured. 3. Another Velcro® hook-and-loop tape is wrapped around the first to provide added security.
