Have a pair of Paiste sound formula 13 in hi hats. Those were my pride and joy until I tried the Byzance darks. Still have the Paiste's but I use the Meinl's for live performance and they haven't let me down yet. Great projection and I love the open sound as well as closed. Good price for these hats! From the first four count I was pleasantly surprised.
