Unplugged, the guitar has great tone. Not as much lows as I get from my other Martin that is a dreadnought but has beautiful overtones. This guitar has great sustain that I would not expect from any steel string acoustic. Great for fingerstyle music and performs just as well with light to medium strumming. The guitar may seem small, but it is loud! The plugged sound is great just like the unplugged sound. The idea of the Aura is genius. I'm still not too sure about the technical aspects of how the Aura works, but Fishman has gone a step further in their development of acoustic guitar electronics. This guitar is worth every penny!
I just bought this guitar a week ago and I can't stop playing it! The tone is beautiful and loud for a small body cut-away. The finish is perfect. The tuners are slightly loose for my taste, but they seem to hold their tune very well. For the price you will not find a better guitar.
