"DO NOT BUY THIS"

I bought a bottle of this stuff to clean my D28 Martin and really regretted it. This polish is very greasy/oily and leaves a filmy residue behind on your instrument. I honestly thought I had ruined my D28's finish, but luckily I came across a bottle of Gibson's polish. It removed the residue left by the Martin and gave it the prettiest shine you've ever seen. if you need polish, get the Gibson and avoid this.

Do NOT use this on an quality electric guitar - it appears to have silicone (no detail of ingredients) - which can ruin your potential to ever refinish your guitar as its seeps through the paint to the wood.

I have been using this polish for over 25 years. It has been consistent from batch to batch, never has damaged an instrument, and always delivers a sheen like new appearance which resists fingerprints with no build up or residue. It's also safe on all metal parts. I have trusted this on my vintage instruments for years. If it's safe protection for your expensive investment, this is the product for you. The only thing this doesn't do is treat the fretboard. I use boiled linseed oil for this. If you want the auto body buff for your glittery machine, go to your local auto body supply. If you want a safe, effective, and dependable polish, try this.
