I have this Cherry/Maple snare in the 12x6 variety. It has amazing tone and crack for it's size. Also, the cherry finish on mine is stunning. It has become my main side snare, and is capable of being a main snare depending on your preference. This is one snare that I'll keep forever. The adjustable butt-plate is also a huge advantage. This drum is quality all over!
