The MXR 134 is by far the most musically enjoyable chorus pedal I have ever owned. I feel it is warmer and richer sounding for electric guitar than my more expensive TC electronic. It's operation is exceedingly quiet virtually no buzz, fuzz, hum etcc... that is unwanted. It sounds absolutely stunning when run in stereo with 2 amplifiers. For rock blues or jazz, with Teles and Strats, or semi-hollowbody Gibsons, I have never played a better chorus pedal than this. Built like a tank. It is destined to be a classic, worth every penny. It is even helpfully packaged with instructions to show you how to dial up particular chorus settings, Rush type Rock, Police type clean etc.. Almost every setting is musical and useful. I will try more MXR pedals in the future because of this pedal. MXR I am your customer now.

This is an excellent chorus! If you can afford the price (Music 123 does have the best price) give it a try. The only thing I would like to see is a volume knob, but you can adjust the bass and treble knobs to somewhat achieve this.

When I first got this I didn't think it was anything special. Whatever you do... DO NOT use it mono as you are missing out on 90% of what this pedal does! While I planned on using it as stereo I tried it out using the mono until my other amp came to run in stereo. Yes, you can get some nice mono tones, but you'd be cheating yourself not using it in stereo. From what I can tell it sends a inverse signal to one of the outs. This is super pedal! If you only plan to use this in mono DO NOT buy this. You'd be throwing your money away! If you go mono, go for a pedal for $60-85. This has alot of great features other pedals don't have.

"This Is The Chorus Sound I Have Always Heard In My Head"

But could never get no matter which Chorus pedal I tried or owned. I have heard so many rave reviews on this pedal I had to at least try it and in the end I ended up bringing her home.If you have a discriminating ear you will notice the difference over a long period of time between analog and digital gear. Everything I have ever tried by MXR has been nothing short of amazing, this chorus is no exception. It does not mess with your tone one bit but rather adds the most dense, lush, velvetlike Chorus effect I have ever heard. This baby is worth every penny I spent on it. It works extremely well in both the studio and live and is built like a tank. I use it in mono but it is made for Stereo applications as well.I don't know what more I can say when a product this good comes out because I just end up pretty much speechless. I highly recommend this pedal to anyone who wants the ultimate Chorus sound on the market today!

"Great Chorus"

This is a wonderful sounding chorus. You can achieve a vast variety of sounds. The examples supplied do sound good , but I sat down for a while and tweaked until I got a sound that was right for me in solo settings and others for band settings. I would advise to write down the settings when you get them, since it's easy to forget settings since there are 5 knobs. I have 4 MXR pedals. They are good to me and sound how I like them to.
