"Sweet deal on a good beginner's keyboard."

If you're looking for a good live keyboard or an inexpensive keyboard for a beginner this is seriously the best deal you're going to find anywhere. 49 keys is enough for most of what you'd want to do and is good for beginners; they're velocity-sensitive too. The pitch and mod wheels feel great and smooth. The keyboard has a good weight to it too; it's not so heavy it's unwieldy but it's hefty enough to feel stable. Now for the bad. The keys feel a little cheap and sometimes you can feel them scratch against eachother or the mechanisms grinding. They're also not weighted and there's no Aftertouch feature. The built in editting controls are convoluted and difficult to use because there's no input pad. You have to control it with the keys themselves, which while the natural notes are labelled, they're not labelled for controls in any way. This makes it extremely confusing, especially if you accidently hit the Edit button while trying to hit the octave controls and then you can't figure out what you did. There also doesn't appear to be any sort of factory reset for the internal settings, yet there's a factory reset on the 25 key version. What? Why? Not sure why this was left out, especially with the awkward Edit controls. Despite the flaws, this keyboard is great for a beginner or someone who plays other instruments and wants to add some keyboards to their music. The limitations keep it from being professional quality, but if you're a penny-pincher, there's no better deal.
