The drums are absolutely beautiful, incredibly sturdy and stable, and the sound is awesome. Most of my friends that come down to jam with me are astounded when they see what amounts to professional looking and sounding drums. The price of this set up is not much more than a beginner set up and the looks and sound are solid pro!

I am totally amazed at the quality of this set. You need to buy this set if you are in the market for a new set of drums or a extra set as I was. I needed a set that I could do some club dates with so I thought Ludwig, good set, good company how could I go wrong. What I got was a GREAT set of drums at a GREAT price from a GREAT company! I bought the silver sparkle and I must tell you the finish is smooth and attractive with no flaws. The chrome on these drums is just outstanding not to mention a wonderful warm sound from the birch shells. Perfect in all ways! Nice pro set at mid range prices!!

I have owned several drum kits in the past 40 years. I have had them all. Every make model and size on the market. I needed another set that I could use locally and still have a great sound and look. I was totally amazed at the quality of these drums! Not only is the design well thought out, keeping the working drummer in mind, but the finish on these drums is incredible. I have the silver sparkle and they look great!! Don't let the CS badge fool you, these are high quality pro drums. The hardware is wonderful it holds cymbals very well and is very stable! This kit will probably replace my concert kit which is Rogers (early USA made). The sound of this kit right out of the box will amaze you, Remo heads come with the set. I'm sure Ludwig will sooner or later position this kit to sell with its higher priced USA drums. Over all this is a great kit for the working drummer!
