On occasion, a stranger will offer some advice that strikes a chord, and that advice sticks with you forever. Brace yourself, because this is one of those moments: It's far superior to have this adapter and not need it, than need an adapter and not have it. If your guitar is like mind, and you plug into the edge of the guitar and run the wire through the strap, this adapter is your new best friend. Never worry again about pulling too hard and damaging your guitar's innards (I've had to work on mine already, chalk it up to carelessness, but still...). This keeps the cord at the angle where you won't damage your plug, and keeps your wire nice and straight. Now, there are few times where you are afforded the best of both worlds. You find a cable you like, but it doesn't have a right angled plug you might need. Well, guess what you've already got? That's right. Now stop reading this long review and buy the adapter already!
