Features:
The tone and technology of Bass PODXT Pro comes to you as Amp, Cab and Effect Models based on a collection of gear recognized by guitarists and bassists the world over as true "tone classics." These models were tweaked through careful, scientific A/B comparisons to the gear that inspired them, with an ear open for the effects of different volume levels and settings of the originals' tone and gain controls. The gain and equalization characteristics of the modeled gear were carefully measured so that changes to knobs on the models would mirror the effects of these changes on the originals as closely as possible. Tone control center frequencies, slopes, and cut/boost range were painstakingly analyzed, in addition to a whole host of factors unique to each piece of gear.
Effects:
Bass PODXT Pro's got a bunch of great Stomp, Mod and Delay/Verb effects adapted from Line 6's DM4 Distortion Modeler, MM4 Modulation Modeler, and DL4 Delay Modeler pedals, some brand spankin' new bass specific models, plus a dedicated compressor and 6 band semi-parametric EQ. Who says you can get too much of a good thing?

Bass PODXT Pro features 22 models of the most historic speaker cabinets ever built. From modern to vintage, you'll have the ultimate collection. And it doesn't stop there. Bass PODXT Pro has A.I.R. II cabinet/microphone modeling which allows you to choose from 4 different classic mic models.
Ins and Outs:
The Bass PODXT Pro features 1/4-inch and XLR outs, 24-bit/96k digital I/O (AES/EBU & S/PDIF), effects loop, analog reamping in and outs, biamp mode with selectable crossover, the ability to mix the direct signal into the modeled output, 4 mic models, A.I.R. II cab/speaker/mic emulation, MIDI, chromatic tuner, 64 channel memories, and USB digital I/O for Mac and PC recording applications.
Chromatic Tuner:
Bass PODXT Pro's built-in Chromatic Tuner offers precision tuning at the touch of a button. Audio Mute or Bypass options with an adjustable tuning reference are featured as well as hands-free operation when used with the FBV series foot controllers.
