The glove leather backing on these straps makes them extremely comfortable for long practice sessions. The rounded edges won't dig into your neck or skin, and the strap is really built to take some punishment. The strap may be a bit stiff when new, but one application of Neatsfoot oil (which you should apply at least twice a year to any kind of leather) softens it right up and gives it a nice broken-in feel.

Although the strap is a bit pricey, it is well worth the money. The strap is quite broad, which helps it distribute the weight of the guitar over a large area. It really does feel very comfortable even after hours of use.

This is a heavy well made strap. The padding is very nice, being wider with rounded edges makes it very comfortable and the color I picked (walnut) matches my new Mahogany Flying V perfectly.

This strap was ready to go off the rack, didn't require any conditioning or break-in time before it was ready to be used. The stitching, especially around the padding, appears to be good quality and the leather on the padded section looks sharp. The padded portion is also very comfortable after a couple of hours playing, and significantly reduced my shoulder fatigue using a 9.5 lb. ES-335. The only drawback is that the adjustable "tail" portion is single-layer and soft, which I'm guessing is going to be the failure point when that time eventually comes. In the meantime, I'm using it on a weekly basis for rehearsals and gigs.

I must say that I'm very impressed by how comfortable and sturdy my instrument feels when using this strap. Yes, I do have strap locks, but the thick padding distributes the weight perfectly. I have a Gibson Les Paul and it is a heavy guitar. This strap has done wonders to reduce my shoulder discomfort; it looks great as well!
