Although the strap is a bit pricey, it is well worth the money. The strap is quite broad, which helps it distribute the weight of the guitar over a large area. It really does feel very comfortable even after hours of use.
This is an excellent strap. It should last a lifetime. It is very comfortable for hours of playing. I recommend the Dunlop Straplok system it makes getting the strap on and off a breeze. Just be prepared to apply some elbow grease to get the dunlops on since the strap leather is thick and ridged.
The glove leather backing on these straps makes them extremely comfortable for long practice sessions. The rounded edges won't dig into your neck or skin, and the strap is really built to take some punishment. The strap may be a bit stiff when new, but one application of Neatsfoot oil (which you should apply at least twice a year to any kind of leather) softens it right up and gives it a nice broken-in feel.
