Bought a tenor to get more finger room. The Lanikai solved that problem. It is very playable and seems to be in tune up the fretboard. The sound is OK, pleasant and loud, but not as ringing as similarly priced solid wood tenors, including Lanikai's all mahogany tenor. I have not needed nor tried the pickup yet. The koa finish looks great!
