I've been playing on Lavoz reeds since 1982 and I've loved every since. I must admit everytime a new brand of reed comes out I would try them for awhile but would always come back to a LaVoz MH on all of my horns (Sop, alto, tenor). Even when I change mouthpieces & amp; used different reeds - back to Lavoz. Great upper partials, warm edge (until worn out), resonance, great response in lower range and altissimo. I've used these on alto on my Larry Teal, Meyer, Rovner, Lawton, and now Beechler and love it. On tenor I use them on my Guardala and Soprano on my Lawtons and hard rubber Yanigasawa. Try it.
A very good, easy to use reed, but these reeds are also cheap for the use that you get out of them; if you ask me, I like the cheap side!
