We bought this so our son would not be embarassed by his "purple sponge" at his first concert in the community orchestra. But, we were surprised at the difference in sound this rest makes. The violin projects much better now. And, the convenience of the collapsible is great! We are very pleased with our purchase, and our son is, too.

It's been a while since I've played, let alone used a shoulder rest. Must say, the Kun collapsilbe is GREAT: fits in my case, is easy to install on my fiddle, and the adjustability makes comfort the number one high point. Thanks for your quick service and for handling such a super product!
