The Korg EXBSMPL Sampling Option Board for TritonLE models. The user-installable EXB-SMPL Sampling Upgrade adds two audio inputs with mic/line switching and a variable gain knob, a SCSI interface and support for 48-kHz 16-bit linear mono/stereo sampling. Sample waveform editing functions including Crossfade Loop, Truncate, Normalize, Time Slice, Time Stretch and Rate Convert give you the editing possibilities you expect from a sophisticated sampler.

You can connect the EXB-SMPL Board to external SCSI devices, making it possible to use a wide range of storage media or to access CD-ROM sound libraries. AIFF, WAVE, AKAI S1000/3000 (samples and multisamples) as well as Korg format data are all supported. The EXB-SMPL Board comes standard with 16-Mbytes of SIMM memory, allowing approximately two minutes, 54 seconds of monaural sampling, or approximately one minute, 27 seconds of stereo sampling. You can install a maximum of two 72-pin SIMM memory modules* to expand the memory to 64-Mbytes (when the standard 16-Mbyte module included is replaced by two 32-Mbyte modules).

All Korg products purchased from a Korg USA authorized dealer are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship to the original consumer purchaser as listed below:

Labor: 1 Year
Parts: 1 Year

Exceptions: Tubes, AC Adapters, Foot Switches: 90 days

Warranty Requirements and Limitations:

-Proof of Warranty - The customer must provide proof of purchase in order to obtain warranty service. The dated sales slip or copy thereof is the only acceptable proof of purchase.

-The product must be purchased from a Korg USA authorized dealer and have a valid serial number.

Damage resulting from the following causes are excluded from the warranty set forth above:
-Misuse, including damage occurring during shipment, damage caused by battery leakage, accident, fire, unauthorized repairs, tampering, cosmetic damage or other types of damage which are the result of improper handling or abuse.
-The cleaning of controls or contacts due to exposure to dirty, dusty, or otherwise contaminated environment.
-Damage resulting from modification.
-Damage to units used for loan or rental.

Decent, ok board. What, are you kidding!? This thing is great. Everything I ever wanted in a sampling board. It is at a great price for its quality also.
