Possibly the best tuner that I have ever found for the money! Loaded with features including a bright LED light on the underside that illuminates the majority of the rest of your rack if you have it installed at the top. The strobe tuning is crazy accurate and it looks really cool in a dark or poorly lit room. The little light was bright enough to actually cast shadows across our practice space! Comes in really handy for helping you see the majority of your knobs on a dark stage (and it looks evil to have this eerie white glow down the front of your stack).
Simply Awesome! The first time I saw one, it was a Korg 1000 being used by a bass player. I didn't know anything about them but liked the concept and the lights moving around. As I began reading up on the 1000 and 2000, they both seemed to be premier tuners with the 2000 offering more features. I bit the bullet and bought the Korg 2000 this past Christmas. Now, I can't say enough about it. The main feature I use is the strobe tuning. Strobing nails your instrument in exactly. I also liked being able to leave my guitar plugged in allowing me to double check my tuning at any time without having to look where ever my little tuner might be laying, on the floor or on my Amp. Many musicians tried to tell me for years that you can get by with those inexpensive tuners or to tune by ear. It used to be that that was the only way to do it. My desire for perfection needed something better. My band always had a good sound, but once we started using the 2000, it was like leaving the garage and playing the main stage at The Grand Old Oprey. It put us all into exact synchronization. If you are serious about your music, strobe tuning is the best way to go and the Korg 2000 gets 5 stars from me.
This is an awesome tuner, not only does it give you an perfectly tuned guitar, But this is also Slash's tuner of choice.
