I accidently found Kelly mouthpieces on the www and was skeptical at first on a Lexan mouthpiece. I have 14 years of playing experience and was literally knocked out when my girlfriend bought me one. The feel is something totally new and there is no more warming up the mouthpiece in cold gigs. The look on my red transparent piece is totally hot, and the feel & response while playing is excellent! I fully recomend this mouthpiece and so does the Canadian Brass. I have two words for you...BUY ONE! You will not be disapointed :) I am ordering and 1c from Kelly next

I was really impressed with the quality and sound from this mouthpiece. For the money this is one of the best mouthpieces for outdoor playing. There are better ones out there than this, but the durability and stamina that you get out of Kelly mouthpieces is awesome. Great for marching band. 4 stars because there are better sounding ones out there. But overall it has great sound and is good for anything.

I saw the mouthpieces on there web site and I liked the look, but I though that would effect the sound a lot. Man was I wrong there sound as good as my gold-plated Bach Megatone 7c!! I highly recommend these mouthpieces they are very comfortable and look GREAT!

The Kelly mouthpiece (3C) has been a life saver for me. I'm 63 and have played for many years. During the last several years I've struggled using a traditional metal mouthpiece. My top range had dropped and my lip muscles experienced fatigue after a short time of playing. Somehow, the Kelly mouthpiece has enabled me to play with much less effort. I'm able to play for much longer now. Metal mouthpieces are not for everybody.

This is a novel mouthpiece, and fun occasionally, but it's not the best, by any means. My section often uses them during cold winter rehearsals just so we don't have to freeze our faces of with a traditional metal mouthpiece, but other than that, they are fairly useless. They aren't any more chop conserving in regular weather than a traditional mouthpiece.

I got this mouthpiece (Kelly 3C) because I wanted a good trumpet mouthpiece for my outdoor mellophone playing. Its sound is very good; I was impressed by the sound a piece of plastic could make ;p. The only problem is that spit gets stuck in after a lot of playing, although that can easily be fixed (but it's hard to so that inconspicuously out on the marching band field.)Definitely a great mouthpiece for the money. 4 Stars because of the spit problem.

These mouthpieces are brilliant for marching bands because when the weather is cold you no longer have to warm you mouthpiece up, which enables you to play a lot longer. one problem we do have in the band is that people walk into the back of each other or someone knocks your instrument which ends up hurting your mouth or even splitting your lip but with these mouthpieces it softens the blow so you never get a fat lip again. I would recommend these to everyone.

Bought this as an inexpensive way to try different mouthpiece sizes. Not only was the price right, but I am very happy with the feel and sound. Not being subject to heat and cold is a nice feeling, even indoors. Again, I'm happy with the sound as well.

My new 5C Kelly is a marvelous mouthpiece. Immediately comfortable on the chops, blows freely, with a wonderful sound. . I can take it from low F# up to double C, and it is great in every register. The tone quality allows me to either blend or project, as the situation calls for it. And my Jet Black model is cosmetically appealing as well. This has become my new go-to mouhtpiece!

Kelly mouthpieces are great. These are not the plastic pieces of years ago. The tone is as good as brass mouthpieces.
