I got my 536L about a week ago and I love it. I've been playing about a year. I've been playing a used Yamaha beginner, but I like the Jupiter much better.

I love this horn. I got off this site not knowing if i would like it or not. But when I got my hands on it i loved it. I even named it Lola. This horn is good for 3rd and 2nd I find when I play lead it take alot of air to put the bite and crispness into the sound but it's a great step up.

Jupiter, for the longest time, has had a bad reputation in the brass world. Now, they seem to be on the right track with their latest line. I got my 536L only a few years ago and after test-playing several other brands, at the Woodwind & Brasswind, I determined this instrument to be the closest playing horn next to my Selmer Bolero with F-attachment. The Jupiter with the .525 bore plays like the .508 bore Bolero...a trombone I have used since 1986. I have enough wind to play solos with this larger bore so that is no problem...I also like the lower resistance (back-up) in the Jupiter that I would normally see with the smaller diameter horn...I am truly impressed...Keep up the good work, Jupiter!

I just received my 536L and it is awesome. It has all the ease of range with a smaller bore instrument with the full sound expected with a large bore trombone. The trigger is nice and quiet and transitions well. Over all, this is sweet trombone.

I just received my 536L a few days ago and am very impressed with the bone. Although I am only a beginner playing for about 7 months using a professional school loaned King, I find this horn produces a great sound. I agree with another reviewer, that this horn is great for playing 2nd or 3rd.
