"Great axe!"

I tried one in early November 2006 in a music store. First thing I noticed was the neck - I surprised myself at how fast I could play this baby! The neck is one of the fastest I've played (I picked this guitar up immediately after a Fender Standanrd Strat and the difference was like driving a tractor as opposed to a Ferrari). Having said that, the metal on the first 3 or 4 frets stuck out too far for my taste, though this could easily have been remedied by filing them down a hair (but for that price, the owner shouldn't have to do this). The volume knob was a bit loose - the whole pot moved a few millimeters laterally, but since this was a floor model it may have taken some abuse. The pickups are spectacular - Seymore Duncans! I can't comment on the tremolo since the whammy bars at this store are kept off the floor so I couldn't test it. If you're looking for an axe with great action and screaming pickups, this is your guitar.

This is the nicest git box I have ever come across. I needed a secondary guitar to my Jackson Soloist so I got this baby for Christmas. Needless to say, my soloist was on E-bay within a week. So nice to play, the neck is smooth, fast, and quiet. Plays like a dream. Get rid of all of your other guitars and get this monster!
