A sophisticated, advanced network topology design is utilized in JRX100 models to ensure quality performance. To minimize distortion due to coil saturation, heavy gauge wire is used for inductors and SonicGuard(TM) high-frequency driver protection guards against damage caused by inadvertent overpowering of the system. All full-range models feature Neutrik Speakon and 1/4" input connectors.
All JRX100 series models are constructed of carpet-covered, 3/4" MDF - a material that is structurally and acoustically superior to the particleboard that is used by many competitive products. To ensure durability, JBL constructs these enclosures with advanced adhesives and closely mechanically spaced fasteners, while competitive systems typically rely on glue. Non-resonant, all metal handles are used and an 18 gauge, full metal grille protects the drivers. All JRX100 models have passed the same 100-hour, full rated-power torture test that JBL high-end touring systems must survive.

These Cabinets are awesome. I bought a pair and they sound great. You can run 100 watts or 2000 watts and they sound perfect. What ever size venue you are playing, no matter what type of music, I've done it and I am going to buy another pair soon! I am currently running these off of a Mackie 1400i, but plan to double it soon.
