When I saw other people clipping this on their guitars and tuning in seconds, while I held my electronic tuner slipping off my lap, I knew it was worth the plunge to buy it. I found that when I read the directions and used it according to the directions, it never reads wrong.

I really love this tuner! And that's saying a lot because I usually hate them, but this one is so easy to use, not to mention EXTREMELY accurate (I checked it against my KORG DT-7 and it was dead on). The spring loaded clamp makes it easy to attach and it's so small you'll forget it's there, but don't let the small size fool you! It's display is easy to see and it's loaded with functions. Also, the hardshell carrying case is so nice, I can't believe it doesn't cost extra. For the money, you can't beat it!

This tuner has revolutionized tuning in my guitar classes. I have 42 guitars in my classroom that must be tuned each morning! With microphone-based tuners there was too much interference from extraneous sounds of students entering the room, talking, warming up, etc. It was a minor nightmare. I decided to try an Intellitouch, and it's been a life saver. I can accurately tune a guitar in 20-45 seconds and not have to be constantly yelling at kids to be quiet. I'm ordering two more so my student assistants can also use them. It's also great because when a guitar goes out of tune during the day I can quickly tune it without bringing the entire class to a silent halt. The only shortcoming is that it doesn't pick up the open 5th and 6th strings so well, so I use 12th fret harmonics. It's not a problem.

I can't speak for other instruments, but this tuner is a godsend for those of us who have to tune an acoustic guitar in a non-silent room. Very accurate and simple to use.
