I own a washburn, an ltd, and 2 ibanez guitars(1 being the xiphos). I have played many other guitars from gibson to prs and i have to say by far ibanez is the best brand you can buy, for the playing quality, and the sound. The xiphos is a very intense guitar. The looks, sound, and playability are second to none. I ve had the guitar for a few months, alrdy played a show with it and hasnt let me down...make sure u no how to use the tremolo system tho. The dimarzio's are great, the neck is fast, and the tone is great. If you play any metal(especially very technical metal) or rock this is the guitar for you..main concern is finding a case
this guitar.. blows my mind. its perfect. and for the money :0.. its a soloists dream. but with my luck the day after i got mine something in the electronics busted so i have to get it exchanged which takes weeks..:( but i got the case for it too which i recommend it holds the guitar firmly but gently and has a great tolex outside and a GIANT box inside for holding whatever the need may be..im pretty sure any music book will fit in it.this guitar is a 5.. but lets all hope i got the only one that is busted.
