I had my eyes on this bass for awhile.I checked out others, but always came back to this one because of it's easy playability (even for a 5 string!), great looking mahogany wood grain finish, and the Bartolini pickups, which give it a mind blowing sound!only downside is my amp(15 watts),doesn't do this bass any justice! but I will be getting a better amp! GET THIS BASS! I REPEAT,GET THIS BASS!

This is my second bass. I was really in need of a new one, my first 5-stringer btw. I only played it for like a few hours now, but I can tell you it is certainly the best bass I've ever played. It's sound is just amazingly good. You can get any sound you want. Action is low, neck is really comfy and amazingly slim. The bartolini MK1 pickups produce a really good and clear sound. The only limitation to the sound for me is that my amp.I think this is going to be my main bass for many many years to come.

I play in a Christian Band in Southern Illinois and I just recieved this great Bass! I am totally pleased with it! The action is nice and low but no fret buzz and the tone is awsome! The play and feel is also great! For the price you cannot go wrong with this very nice 5 string bass! The natural wood grain look and hardware is simply beautiful! Way to go Music 123 and way to go Ibanez! I'm impressed!!!

I used to have an old soundgear sr405 I think it was, and I loved it but it lacked a bit in the electronics. This bass does not have that problem, the bartolinis are amazing. Definitely worth the money.

I was looking for a new bass to move up from my old one. I went to my local music store and played around with this one for about two hours. I stayed for a long time and practically drooled over it. It has amazing sound, feel, and playability. (not to mention it has sweet active electronics and great tone that gives you any sound you want!) To top it off it has a low B string that has absolutely no buzz. YOU HAVE TO GET IT!!!!

I have a 6 string Ibanez sr 406, and there is no match with this one. the sound of the Bartolini pick ups is just outstanding, the neck is really fast, and the with and balance is very comfortable. his versatility is very good. for any kind of music.

I have been playing this bass for about 3 months now and it is now my main axe. I was used to my 64 fender jazz bass (thin neck) and the change over to this bass was easy. I think this is one of the best buys on the market in the 5 string realm. Tone controls are well placed and very potent. I like this bass very much.

I have had a SR505 for years and it is simply the best bass you can find for the price. Easy to play and very comfortable.
