Ibanez RG370DXGP2 Electric GuitarFor two decades, the RG has reigned as the unquestioned monarch of metal guitars. Why? Because the RG has the perfect combination of fast, flat necks, the right pickups and pickup placement, and precision trem systems to mete out creative destruction. And because the RG has evolved and expanded along with the metal genre it was designed for. Which is why the 2007 RG line offers a vast selection that dwarfs anything else remotely comparable.

Metal awesome distortion sound. Insane lead playing. Durable. Just insane!
I have this guitar, and sounds perfectly, looks great and you can play anything: blues, jazz, tock, metal etc..and if you like to have the best guitar, you can buy this guitar for a cheap price.
This guitar is very good!! Don't let the price fool you! If you are interested in buying a 7 string without a Floyd rose (endless hairpulling) Then this guitar is for you!! The only thing id say that it need's would be new pickups! The Ibanez stock pickups are good but it isn't no EMG! May I request to check out the "Lungdren M7" Its Frederick's custom pickup from Meshuggah very crunchy and it isn't active but WOW it would be perfect for this guitar! The back of the neck is VERY THIN AND SLICK and the width of the fretboard fits your hand perfect, That extra string makes the guitar fit your hand very well! And its a very amazing concept the B string if you are thinking about a 7 string check this one out! It opens up another door to guitar playing! I cant express how great this is for Metal/Jazz/Blues/Classical (scales are a dream with the B string) please if your a guitar nut and don't have alot of money to afford a Steve Vai 7 string or a UV check this out!!
I noticed that the tremolo on this guitar is the same as the more expensive prestige guitars. There is no difference other than pickups and maybe the figured maple tops on the more expensive guitars. I just put in a PAF pro neck and an evolution bridge with an old DiMarzio single coil from an old USA custom. This guitar sounds great now and the tremolo is superior to the licensed Floyd out there. Great Job Ibanez, just needed better pickups.
Yeah I got this guitar about 2 months ago and I have to say it is the sweetest guitar I have ever played. The neck is thin and smooth, your hands glide over it perfectly. The tremolo system holds your tuning very well. The only downer is when you are dropping your tuning down a step or whatever it takes a while to settle down.Once you get the right balance with your amp this guitar is a pure metal, its so good and you can even get a pretty decent clean sound with it
