Tone-Lok series Phaser effect pedal capable of either four or eight stages of smooth phasing.

Ibanez PH7 Phaser Pedal
The Phaser

All Tone-Lok Products
For three decades, Ibanez electronics has been creating effects that the working player could afford to buy but couldn't afford to live without. On the exterior, all Tone-Lok effects are equipped with Ibanez's exclusive "set and forget" Puh-Lok rotary pots. By simply pushing the knobs down, you will lock your tone settings securely inside the case. This helps to eliminate the possibilities of lost settings or broken knobs. As for the interior, Tone-Lok pedals feature high-fidelity components carefully tweaked with the constant input from a new generation of guitar players. Finally, for a great appearance, each pedal comes encased in a cool looking, road tough metal box to guarentee style and protection.

The Phaser
Looking to get funky? Than this is the answer for you. The phaser is designed to emulate the effect of a rotating speaker. It has a switchable phase circuit capable of either four or eight stages of smooth phasing. With these two very different tonal modes, you can go from a subtle shimmer to an all out 70's extravaganza.

This thing is so cool. I bought it about two months ago, and it has been good to me. The tone-lok system works great. Since I'm in a band, my stuff gets kicked around a lot. To say the least, THESE THINGS ARE DURABLE. I tried the Boss Phase Shifter and I think that the Ibanez sounds better and is a lot more straightforward with the controls. I only had one problem with it. I have EMG pickups witch are HIGH output and when you turn this thing way to the right on the depth control you get slight distortion, but on my friend's Strat with standard Fender pickups it worked great.

The Ibanez PH-7 phaser is a great pedal to use with your wide arsenal of other effects. The swirling speaker effect takes you to another quantum realm, making the musical trance impossible to not fall under it's spell. Great for use when writing with your band, or just jamming' in your garage, it helps to create the most surreal soundscapes ever heard by a Phaser effect. With it's "Set and Forget" tone lock mechanism, you can easily keep the sound you want without accidentally losing that perfect setting for your original riff. With a click of the mode switch, you can switch it from all out phaser to a smooth, ice cold crisp chorus/flanger effect. This pedal is absolutely fantastic; I highly recommend it to anyone interested in getting a quality phaser for their arsenal.
