I played as a Teenager.. now 55 just wanted to play again.. didnt want to spend alot until I was sure I wanted to play. I have had mine since Christmas 2004. I simply love it.. Great value for a beginner and intermediate. Note great sound, volume and easy fingering . I am truly happy with the Guitar. Good luck

I have a son who has been taking guitar lessons and we decided to purchase one for practice at home. The first one I bought that I "thought" was a great deal was a piece of junk. I do not know alot about guitars so first of all it was quite a bit smaller and it would not hold tune. I came across this set and thoght that it might be what I was looking for. It was a brand name that I had heard of and came with everything that I wanted so I ordered it. When it came in I had a co-worker who is an avid guitarist tune it and look it over - he said that it was a great buy and since he knows I am inclined to believe him and everyone else who gave it great reviews. My son is going to LOVE it, Thanks very much.
Thsi is an excellent starter guitar....The quality is very good. The setup out of the box is very good. I bought this for a friend who needed a guitar that would be inexpensive yet easy on the fingers....This one did just that. I did my research before getting this one. THe tuner is easy to use and the gig bag is adequate. The guitar's finish is one of much more expensive models. I recommend getting a starter DVD with lessons for begginers.
Really good sound with those strings- although a bit metally. Looks good but lighter than shown on the internet. Plays easy and loud but soft and low can be done on this instrument as well. Couldn't possibly be better for the beginner, and lasts well past amatureness if you make it that far...
