This guitar isn't horrible, but I would definitely recommend spending a little bit more and getting the Ibanez gsa60 or gsa20 for around 200$. This guitar has a nice neck and pretty good action, but the pickups really squeak when the volume is turned up a lot. Also, the neck hangs very low and I personally feel I have a lot more control when the neck sits higher. It's an ok guitar for a beginner, but I do think you should check out the gsa60 or 20 first.

Its a very nice guitar. It plays well and looks great. GREAT for any experience level. It has a nice thin quick neck, decent pickups, not too heavy. I've had mine for 6 months and I can't put it down! Overall excellent guitar especially for the price

I bought this guitar a while ago and my God it was comfortable. The tone is crunching, and with a good amp you can fool people into thinking it was an expensive guitar. Ibanez = quality. Go with quality, not looks. This guitar's vintage design, old school.

I helped pick this guitar out for my dad to learn on. We and really dug the looks, and I favor Ibanez. This guitar is typical of the company. Stunning looks, great playability(slim, smooth neck to learn on), and good tone. Not quite as nice of a tone as their slightly more expensive guitars, but for the price, an unbeatable quality. Highly recommended to learn on, or just to add to your collection as an awesome looking guitar.

The guitar looks awesome and sounds pretty good. It sounds really good for its price. The construction and the quality of the guitar is great. The pickups are good enough for now. I will replace them soon but they're pretty decent stock. The neck is nice and smooth. Although it's not as slim and fast as my friend's Squier, it has quite a nice size. The action is okay but not that great. It's action is set just a little too high for me. Don't get me wrong, it does have good action but I'd rather have a low action guitar. This may seem weird but my 6th string buzzes. Like I said, it's not a low action guitar. Therefore, I don't know why it buzzes. That is probably the only problem I have with the guitar is the buzzing. It's a minor problem that can be fixed. I'm sure most or even all guitars come out of the box with some minor problems. Overall, it's a good guitar for it's price.
