Ibanez GA Series GA6CE Classical Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar
Ibanez GA6CE

The GA series of classical guitars are traditional pieces, offering elegance, refinement, and subtlety. Additionally, the sofness and comfort of the guitar's nylon strings have made it a long favorite of instructors for their beginning students.
Just because you want to produce a classical sound doesn't mean that you have to have an ancient guitar. The GA6CE combines today's construction and technological standards with a sound that will have your dreaming of the days of old. Don't misinterpret classic for old!

This is a great guitar, especially for me. I do not play a lot so I could not see spending $1,000 for a guitar that I do not play every day, or every week for that matter. But, for the price, the quality is outstanding. No buzzing. It is exactly what I was looking for. Made me happy with out shelling out the money. All summed up, great quality, reasonable price.

I own over 12 guitars, including Fender, Gretsch, Hofner, Rickenbacker, Epi, and 3 Martins. When I wanted a classical nylon string, I tried many at the local music store and found this Ibanez model. The tone and clarity is that of a $1000 guitar. The craftsmanship and details are XLNT. The fingering was tight and action low enough to make it almost too easy. I constantly buy & sell guitars, but this one's staying!

"Beautiful"

If you want an inexpensive beautiful classical acoustic electric this guitar works on all three levels. The fingerboard action is smooth and the board is just a little less wide than a classical fingerboard but wider than a typical acoustic. The sound is rich and warm when it is played acoustically. I was almost put off buying it because the reviews said that acoustically it has a small sound. Perhaps I wouldn't play this in a concert hall unamplified, but in a small room or even a larger venue using a mike I see no problem. Amplified it sounds much better than the Ax I own. And even with my practice amp it sounds rich. This guitar looks like really quality and feels just right. I'm not a professional player, but I've been playing for over 40 years and I think you'll get more than your money's worth with this guitar.

dance, light jazz (years ago). Just can't get enough bossa. Palmetto, Fl.

I really love jazz and bossa nova. I needed something, so ordered this one a few months ago. After educating my fingers in nylon string playing, this is now the only guitar (out of 4 total around the house) that I am now playing. I really like the sweet sound and ease of playing. I have yet to find one little buzz or "crack" note on any fret in any position. Very well constructed.
