"great guitar!" by Stephen

I just purchased this guitar today. I have an Ovation acoustic (metal string) guitar and an electric guitar. I was looking for a nylon string with a thin body that I could plug in. So when I saw this guitar, I knew it was the perfect one for me. I also have small hands so its really easy to use, I love the thin body coz its easier to move around just like my electric guitar but lighter, and it sounds really good. So for the price, this guitar is really worth it.

"Great guitar for beginners" by MusicLover

This guitar is great for beginners. I first started playing guitar about two years ago and I bought this guitar. The neck is not as wide so it makes it easy to position your fingers for your chords. You can also solo. This guitar is good quality, and also affordable. You just don't want to buy a cheap guitar but a guitar with quality.

"Terrific instrument . Great Value!" by Don McCullough

This instrument has an easy to play action coupled with s great sound--all wrapped up in a smaller-than-normal package. Just right for a guy like me whose Parkinson's disease keeps me from being able to handle a full auditorium-size guitar. Fit and finish are superb as well.

"awesome guitar... transcends its price" by r

It may be under $300 but it sounds amazing. I just bought mine a few days ago and I'm hooked. I've always wanted a classical guitar but usually classical guitars have thick fretboards and high action near the neck but this one has superb action. The fretboard is surprisingly thin for a classical guitar, almost seems like an acoustic one but the action is just right. The body is quite thin for a classical, just about 2 1/2 inches thick, just right for me since I'm a young girl and my fingers and reach aren't quite like an average guitar player's. I played Paganini's 5th caprice on it, and it handled it quite well. The cutaway is just enough to reach those high notes on the caprice. The frets aren't spaced as far apart from each other on a regular classical. This guitar seems to have been built for people with short reach and small fingers. But it sounds great, not really as loud as the expensive ones but it lives up to its Ibanez name. The tone is what you can expect from a moderately priced guitar, just bright enough for a small stage setting (if you play it right, using your nails). The finishing is a nice touch, when I first saw it I thought it would be priced at around $500, but it was a great value and I don't regret buying it at all. If you have huge hands, don't get this guitar since you'll have a hard time with the spacing of the strings. If it was possible to give this guitar 10 stars, I would. It's that great in relation to its price.

"A great acoustic jazz guitar" by William conway

This Ibanez Ga5tce is great for playing jazz. I own the Ibanez Ga6ce and the Ga6ce is great for playing classical. This guitar (the Ga5tce) is slim -- thin body and narrow neck. It's great for practicing arpeggios and scales. The strings are close together so you'll have easy access between strings if you use a pick. If you use your fingers instead of a pick, the Ga6ce is better because the strings are wide apart. Also the neck is longer on the Ga5tce. Obviously, the Ga5tce was designed for the jazz guitarist. Another plus is knowing you can plug either guitar into an amplifier. If you play the Ga5tce without an amp, you'll get a great sound, and if you plug it in you'll get sounds from heaven. This guitar is great (the Ga5tce). Go ahead and buy one today.
