This effect pedal creates shimmering soundscapes, whooshing jet plane sounds, and contemporary chirps and blurbs. The unique "Krazy" switch lets you play conservatively with the "normal" mode or turn completely around and imitate the contemporary modulation sounds used by today's most awesome rock bands with the "Whack'd" switch. This model is like two pedals in one.

Ibanez CF7 Tone Lok Chorus Flanger Pedal
The Stereo/Chorous Flange

All Tone-Lok Products
For three decades, Ibanez electronics has been creating effects that the working player could afford to buy but couldn't afford to live without. On the exterior, all Tone-Lok effects are equipped with Ibanez's exclusive "set and forget" Puh-Lok rotary pots. By simply pushing the knobs down, you will lock your tone settings securely inside the case. This helps to eliminate the possibilities of lost settings or broken knobs. As for the interior, Tone-Lok pedals feature high-fidelity components carefully tweaked with the constant input from a new generation of guitar players. Finally, for a great appearance, each pedal comes encased in a cool looking, road tough metal box to guarentee style and protection.

This pedal isn't bad for a multi-effects pedal in its price range, and the fact that the knobs can be pushed in is pretty cool, but I didn't find the effects quite as deep as alot of other pedals. It reacts well to the notes but the depth that most other pedals have, just isn't there.

The chorus flange pedal is a good pedal, but lacks a few things that would make it great. when in chorus mode, it really cleans up your guitar, giving a clean sounding single coil pickup, with a background of chorus. sounds good as a background, but the chorus is kind of shallow. the same with the flanger, it kind of shallow sounding, unless you crank the level. it reacts to the notes you play very well, whooshing along with your notes. for its price and a 2 in one pedal, its very worth it.

I bought this pedal really expecting to get what I paid for (I really wanted a Boss CH1, for more depth of tone), but I was very pleasantly suprised. It's not the deepest sounding pedal out there, but it gets the job done. Just remember to get the A/C adapter, because these pedals eat up 9volts. Sounds great!

A good, high quality effect pedal, with 2-1, makes it a good value. With the right combined settings, this pedal brings out a lot in a guitar, such as combining Chorus and Distortion to give a thick metalish sound, or the Flanger to pull it off Jimi Hendrix style. Great for any level of player.

My favorite FX pedal, right next to my Ibanez PM7 Phase Modulator and my Danelectro Black Coffee Metal Distortion. This stompbox [Yes, you can stomp on it, but I wouldn't recommend it. Your choice.] whips out some true funky warbles and psychedelic whooshes. This is [I think] the same flange pedal used by either Munky or Head of Korn - and yes, you can dial it in to get their unique, eerie warbling flavor that their fans have come to know and love. You want flange? You want durability? You want quality? This is it. Ibanez just keeps rolling out the good stuff.
