I've played this guitar and it is unbelievable how Ibanez does it for this price. Epihone and Gibson are in big trouble. It looks beautiful, it is very well made (look at the details i.g. soundholes!), and feels and plays great with a very light action. It sounds very good too. I ordered one!
I bought this guitar with the intent of having an acoustic-electric with a different style than the norm. I got the guitar and the pictures on the web doesn't do it any justice. It's one awesome guitar. It's easy to play and sounds incredible! Especially for an intermediate like me who tends to get impatient learning new stuff.
This guitar was a very pleasant surprise from the moment I opened the box. The blue sunburst was beautiful, the hardware(pickups and tuners) worked great and it put out a wonderful sound. I was looking for an instrument that would create that vintage Chet Atkins-y (60's Gretch) vibe and this guitar filled the bill perfectly. This is a good deal all the way around. It is very well made, feels great and is very reasonably priced. I love the "Country Gentleman" body style. A cool archtop guitar for a great price.

DIDN'T KNOW CHINA MADE GUITARS. THE BINDING IS SO PERFECT IT'S SCARY. THE FINISH IS LIKE A MIRROR. THE TONE IS VERY CLEAR, WARM AND MUSICAL.VERY COMFORTABLE NECK. WHEN MY SON SAW IT, HE SAID" HOW MUCH DAD,$1500? TWO THOUSAND?" AND HE'S SEEN A LOT OF GUITARS COME AND GO OVER THE YEARS. ANY NEGATIVES?
