I just purchased this guitar and believe me I played them all in this price range. I have been playing for 20+ years and the looks feel and sound of this instrument are awesome. Also, if you like harmonics, you can't go wrong here. An added bonus is the fishman pick-up system with the built-in tuner. Once again great quality and sound from Ibanez.

WITHING THIS PRICE RANGE, THE IBANEZ ELECTRIC/ACOUSTIC EAS10EAM ASH IS THE CREAM OF THE CROP. I JUST GOT MINE HOME ABOUT 3 HOURS AGO AND HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN! IT STANDS ON ITS OWN, AS FAR AS AN ACOUSTIC GOES, BUT THEN IBANEZ HOT-WIRES A REALLY NICE "ELECTRIC" SETUP(FISHMAN). IF YOU LIKE A GUITAR THAT IS NOT ONLY WELL-BUILT AND BEAUTIFUL FOR THE MASSES, BUT ALSO "PLAYS" GREAT WITH AN OUTSTANDING SUSTAIN, BELIEVE ME, THIS IS THE AXE FOR YOU! IT'S PROBABLY THE BEST PURCHASE FOR THE MONEY I'VE MADE IN A LONG LONG TIME. I ACTUALLY FEEL LIKE I HAVE A NICE GUITAR HERE. 5 STARS IS MY RATING!

Just got this guitar today. Was in fine condition when it arrived, and I was blown away by how good it actually looks. I thought it looked good in the picture, but it's nothing compared to real life. It's a gorgeous guitar, with very good sound, plugged in or not. If you're a beginner, and you're looking to add a guitar, to move up from a beginner pack or a hand me down, and you don't mind spending this much, then this guitar is well worth it. Not being a well-seasoned player, I don't know how this would be for a vet, but it's very good for my level.

I have had mine for almost a year and a half now, it sounds and plays wonderful. I did have a bracket break that holds the tuner in place. All in all it has brought my playing up a notch due to pure enjoyment of this guitar. I bought an ovation after this and Ibanez beats it hands down.
