The moment I started playing this instrument, I loved it. It's lightweight, slim body fits me perfect, and I love the fact that it has a built in tuner. (great for gigs) It has a great tone and is reasonalbly priced. The mother-of-perl looks great with a black glossy backing. A+ It sounded even better when I plugged it in. By the way, I am a female singer/songwriter, and am recording my first album, currently. Email me if you want to jam in the Austin area!!!!

I bought this on-line after looking at the reviews and knowing Ibanez to be a good company (I owned an electric.) It is a little thinner than other guitars but has wonderful sound. I've had it now for about 8 months and it is still amazing. I let friends who have $1400 Takamines, $1200 Ovations, and other guitars play it and they are all blown away by the clarity and projection this guitar has. Elixers have incredible sound on it as well.

One thing is for sure, most people would look at its size and not think much but once you start playing it, especailly when hooked up to an amp, it sounds wonderful. It is reasonably priced for the quality materials its made of. If you want a guitar to learn on, and keep learning on it, this is the one.

I play professionally on my Taylor 514CE. I tested this guitar for a student of mine and was totally impressed. It's clear, clean, tuner is wonderful. Great workmanship. The neck is a nice size for small hands but still accommodates those with large fingers. The action is close to the neck and easy enough for new students. Most will be able to afford this guitar and will keep playing it as they improve. I'm buying one for myself as a back-up and road guitar for my casual bar and coffee house gigs. Good job Ibanez!
