This is a fantastic tool for beginners. I was convinced my drums were out of round, the heads were shot, the hoops were bad, etc until I started using this. For the first time , my drums sound pretty good. Hearing the isolated heads is the key and I don't think it's offered in any other product.

I like this CD because it has been really useful. I always had problems getting an even tone between my toms, but with this CD I get it perfect every time. The CD provides a reference to tune to, it is easy to get a drum back in tune after a night of playing. To tune with it you basically listen to the tones on the CD and tune your drum to the same pitch. My drums have never sounded this good. I would recommend it to anyone.

This CD is great for someone like me who knows the sound of well-tuned drums, but does not know how to get there. It isolates the top and bottom heads for the snare, bass, and various sizes of toms. Then you get to hear each "full" drum on its own. It allows you to tune your set high or low, and you get to hear how each sounds. It's a great tool.
