I had been working in music for about 17 years. I had never use the wow wow mute. Now with it, I feel like I have a totally new instrument. It gives so many playing options for the trumpet. Truly amazing. Miles used one, and so did most of the great trumpet players who wanted this kind of sound. It feels quite open. It¦s good on all registers and the sound is marvelous. You do have to be careful to insert the mute correctly or it will keep falling off.

I have bought 30 different kinds of Marmen mutes, and the Wow Wow mute has been the best one I have ever bought. I am a band teacher and when I choose a song for my students that needs a Harmen mute I tell them to get a Wow Wow.

I have been playing with this mute for years and it sounds great! It really produces a good tone for me in my Jazz group. I have recommended it to the rest of my trumpet line and all of them purchased through WWBW!

I love the way this mutes plays. The only problem some might have is that on certain horns the mute will lose its color in the lower register.
